At Internorga 2022, guests at the leading trade fair for the out-of-home market will be able to find out comprehensively about the latest developments in the digital guest journey in a hotel, from booking to check-out. The three digital companies HotelNetSolutions, Guestline and Hotelbird will present themselves together on one booth (number 335, in hall A2) and present their innovative and groundbreaking applications for the digital hotel stay from one source.

Guests want a continuous and seamless stay at their hotel, whether for vacation or on a business trip. From researching the right hotel and booking overnight stays to check-out, everything should be done digitally, without paper, quickly and at a glance. The solutions from HotelNetSolutions, Guestline and Hotelbird make this possible. Their digital applications can be seen together at Stand 335 in Hall A2 at Internorga in Hamburg. Industry partners will get an accurate and detailed overview of the innovative developments and applications. Each of the three specialists informs booth visitors in their segment, resulting in the digital guest journey.

The booking of the hotel is in the hands of HotelNetSolutions. With the new version OnePageBooking 6, the technology specialist from Berlin has added some innovative features to the booking platform, which will be presented at the fair. The price calendar now covers a period of two months; if the guest stays longer, the range grows dynamically up to six months. Hotels can now develop their own booking pages for all possible combinations of room categories and rates. “Hardly recognizable and yet the original: OnePageBooking 6 is the new version of our classic. Our biggest goal? To develop a booking engine that isn’t one. What guest wants to be greeted by a machine? Instead of dispatching guests, OnePageBooking gets into conversation with people,” explains Björn Seidel, Head of Sales.

Away from the technically smooth and customer-friendly booking process, hotel management lies in the digital solutions of GuestlineWith the help of the cloud-based Property Management System (PMS), which can be used by both individual hotels and hotel groups, the digital guest journey continues. The PMS supports all hotel departments from front office to housekeeping to accounting by automating administrative tasks, freeing employees from monotonous routines. Bookings, procedures and a host of other functions can be managed from a single location and are also accessible on the go. The Guestline PMS is structured as an open platform that can be individually extended for each hotel with its own Guestline products or with the help of interfaces to third-party providers. Interfaces to 300 providers exist for this purpose. “For software solutions to ideally support hoteliers in their daily operations, they must be well set up and fully integrated. HotelNetSolutions and Hotelbird are great additions to our technology and initial customer experiences show how smoothly and easily the interfaces fit into operational processes,” says Celine Weckerle, Director of Business Development at Guestline DACH.

Hotelbird enables the next stage of the digital guest journey and makes staying at a hotel a relaxed and uncomplicated affair. Customers can use the Munich-based company’s technology to check in before they arrive, either mobile or at home on their PC. The guest does not have to wait at the reception for the room card, opening the room door is possible with the smartphone. The information about the hotel is also available there in the digital guest folder. The latest innovative application further simplifies the process for hotels, with digitization taking place within five minutes of online check-in after free registration. The digital guest folder also leads to a relief of the employees, the exchange of the folders in the rooms is no longer necessary and the digital version offers the possibility to connect external partners or hotel offers with a link. “We are thus opening the doors to digitization for every hotel. The digital check-in, which can also be connected to Booking.com, or the digital guest folder are indispensable in a modern guest journey and are now absolute industry standards,” adds Juan Sanmiguel, Founder and CEO of Hotelbird GmbH.
