As an owner-managed company, we attach great importance to reliability and quality. Our aim is to develop flexible, innovative and highly customizable products that meet accessibility requirements. Our aim is not only to meet legal requirements, but also to make a contribution to an inclusive society.

In accordance with the requirements of the Barrier-free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BSFG), EU Directive 2019/882 and the DIN EN 301 549 standard (which refers to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformity level AA), we are taking targeted measures to make our software solutions OPB 6, OPB 5, MPV 2, MPV 1, VB 3 and VB 2 accessible.

Here you will find an overview of our measures and tips on how you as a customer can help to reduce barriers and improve the user experience for all guests:
  • Compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG): We follow the international standards to make our websites and online tools accessible.
  • Compatibility with screen readers: Our applications are designed to be compatible with popular screen readers to provide ease of use for users with visual impairments.
  • Clear navigation and comprehensible content: We ensure intuitive usability and comprehensible texts to facilitate use for all guests and partners.
  • Flexible design options: Our products are designed in such a way that they can be individually adapted to the needs of the user

The following measures are currently being implemented in detail:

  1. Application & optimization of forms for tab navigation We make sure that our applications and forms are fully navigable with the keyboard. This means that users can easily reach and operate all functions using the tab key – without a mouse. This makes it easier for people with motor impairments to use.
  2. Alt texts for images All images in our applications are provided with meaningful alternative texts. These texts are read aloud by screen readers so that users with visual impairments can understand the content and meaning of the images.
  3. Compatibility with screen reading functions Our software is designed to work seamlessly with screen readers. Users who rely on speech output can easily understand and operate all content and controls.
  4. High and low contrast levels
    We ensure that our applications are easy to read in both high and low contrast designs. This makes them easier to use for people with visual impairments or color vision deficiencies. The implementation is carried out in collaboration with our designers and Figma implementation.

Our development team is continuously working on further development and integrating additional barrier-free functions, which are gradually being added. In this way, we ensure continuous improvement and the removal of barriers.

We strive to continuously improve the accessibility of our software solutions. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us.

You should prepare an accessibility statement in which the accessible functions of our software are documented. To make implementation easier for you, we provide a corresponding template that covers all the important features (as mentioned above): Declaration of Accessibility_HotelNetSolutions

Please use the functions provided and ensure that all content, especially images and forms, are designed to be accessible. Inform your guests which accessible functions (e.g. high-contrast mode, screen reader compatibility) are available on your website or in your application. This will enable your guests to make optimum use of these functions

We recommend that you regularly check whether all barrier-free functions are working properly and make adjustments if necessary. This will ensure that you meet the legal requirements and provide barrier-free access for all guests.
