Hardly recognizable and yet unmistakably the original: With OnePageBooking 6, the new version of the booking classic from HotelNetSolutions is released. Venue of the premiere: the legendary AHORN Berghotel Friedrichroda.

“The first bookings are coming in and the first guest has even given the booking process five points out of a possible five”, enthuses Julian Mieske, marketing and e-commerce director of Ahorn Hotels & Resorts. That was the milestone reached at 12.38 pm on 17 August 2022. Not only for the hotel but also for HotelNetSolutions.

The development took two years. Every line of the code was rewritten and every element was reviewed. The goal? To create a booking engine that is not one: “Hoteliers do not have users or customers but guests. Sounds easy, but it changes everything,” explains Pardis Tehrani from Berlin, the founder of HotelNetSolutions.

The results also please AHORN Berghotel, the magnet for families in the Thuringian Forest with 457 rooms. “Even the booking process must be fun and create holiday enjoyment”, as Julian Mieske knows. Besides the best possible service for the guest, in particular the personalisation options and the strengthening of direct sales were also crucial in the selection of the booking mask. Looking at the figures, we are already getting feedback from the Thuringian Forest: The conversion is happily falling into the above-average range. What is more, every OnePageBooking can be extensively tailored to the hotel.

OnePageBooking 6 now welcomes guests full-screen in full size. “There has never been so much space for your own hotel brand on a booking site,” confirms Kristin Letz, Head of Marketing at HotelNetSolutions. At the same time, the booking section has managed to become even more compact. One of the most striking new features: The price calendar now displays two months at once. There have also been improvements, updates and new features in all other places: With just a few clicks, hoteliers create a separate booking page for each combination of room category and rate – turning OnePageBooking into a landing page for targeted marketing campaigns. Even the non-bookers have been thought of: Half-filled booking sections can now be parked temporarily and shared even more easily with friends. “Booking on a site has never been more beautiful and so personal,” says Kristin Letz. OnePageBooking 6 is now followed by further developments at MultiProperty – the booking portal for hotel families and hotel chains. “All solutions will then interlock and will also be coordinated in design,” says Kristin Letz.

The six other hotels of AHORN Hotels & Resorts are now also gradually switching to OnePageBooking 6. A uniform infrastructure is the goal. In addition, it is not excluded that other products such as RateDistributor will also be taken over by HotelNetSolutions. “Our experience is that HotelNetSolutions is open to personal exchange in order to further improve the products together. We like that,” says Julian Mieske.
