A breath of fresh air in the support team: Jasmin is new to HNS and brings exactly the mix that we value so much. Experience from the hotel industry, a good feel for people and a real hands-on mentality. We asked her to talk to us about how she came to us, her job and what is important to her after work.
Jasmin, it’s great to have you here! Tell us – where are you from and what did you do before HNS?
I am a qualified hotel manageress and did my training in Erfurt. After that, I was drawn back to my home town of Berlin. Among other things, I worked at H-Hotels GmbH – first at reception, then later in channel management. In between, I also worked in room reservations at the Mercure Hotel Berlin. So I know many aspects of everyday hotel life, which helps me enormously today.
And what was it about the job at HNS that particularly appealed to you?
Clearly the variety. No two days are the same. I enjoy the challenge of working with our customers to find solutions to ensure that hotel processes run smoothly. I just like it when things work. And if I can contribute to that, all the better.
What tasks will you take on at HNS?
I work in customer support and also supervise training courses for our new customers. I can put my practical knowledge to good use, I know what it’s like at reception or in reservations and what challenges there can be.
And when you’re not at the computer, what do you like to do?
I love spending time with my family and friends, enjoying a glass of Lillet or Aperol and the latest gossip. But I can also take it easy: a good book, a park bench or a spot by the water is sometimes all I need. Then I just let my thoughts drift.
