(Ad) As a partner of the Expedia Group, you can actively highlight your accommodation in the search results of Expedia and its partner websites and thus increase occupancy exactly when you need it – for example on dates that could do with a little more occupancy. The feature is called ‘Accelerator’ and we will now take a closer look at exactly what it can do.
More visibility – and on the dates you want: Simply add an additional commission (compensation) to your prices for specific dates of stay. Your accommodation will be displayed more prominently in the search results. The likelihood of a booking increases significantly.
Flexible payment that is only recognised when successful: The new feature is based on a ‘payment model per stay’ – costs are only incurred if a booking is actually made and an overnight stay is made.
Make data-based decisions: The preview function shows you a result forecast for the selected dates of stay in advance. This allows you to see at a glance on which days higher compensation makes the most sense in order to maximise your presence on Expedia.
Same price for your guests: You benefit from higher capacity utilisation, but nothing changes for your guests. The price remains the same.
Convincing results: hoteliers who make use of the compensation adjustment record an average of almost 20 % more gross booking turnover and overnight stays compared to those who do not. (own survey)
