Open communication and transparency are important to us – that is why we would like to provide you with more detailed information about the background and content of the changes to our General Terms and Conditions (GTC). Our revised GTC will come into effect on September 3, 2025.
Why we are updating our Terms and Conditions
With this adjustment, we are implementing new legal requirements and creating greater uniformity by incorporating regulations that were previously only included in individual offers. Our goal: clear, understandable terms and conditions for all customers, without changing your existing terms and conditions. The changes do not result in a special right of termination.
The most important changes at a glance
Our revision mainly concerns more precise wording and the inclusion of additional regulations on topics that you are already familiar with from our joint cooperation:
- Rights of use – clear definition of how our products may be used.
- Storage space provision – clear information about what data we store and to what extent.
- Maintenance and support – transparent description of our scope of services so that you know exactly what to expect.
- Haftung – Anpassung an aktuelle gesetzliche Vorgaben.
- Confidentiality obligation – even stronger protection of confidential information.
- Data protection – update in accordance with the GDPR and new regulations.
- Final provisions – formal additions for greater legal certainty.
The changes primarily bring greater clarity, transparency, and legal certainty for both parties. Unless you object in writing within four weeks of receiving our notification, the new terms and conditions will automatically be deemed accepted in accordance with Section 305 (2) of the German Civil Code (BGB).
