Jule is new to HotelNetSolutions and brings not only a wealth of hotel experience, but also a healthy dose of curiosity, enthusiasm, and show dance energy. It’s high time we got to know her.
Jule, tell us: Where do you come from and how did you end up in the hotel industry?
I come from near Schwerin and work entirely from my home office. Most recently, I was an assistant to the hotel manager at a hotel near Schwerin, and before that, an assistant front office manager in Berlin. I have direct practical experience, understand the challenges, the little everyday dramas at reception, and the many happy moments with guests. This knowledge is precisely what helps me now to provide excellent support to hoteliers.
What convinced you to join our team?
I practically stumbled into hotel software in 2020 and was already working extensively with OnePageBooking back then. I was our internal support person and loved tinkering and finding solutions. OnePageBooking was my favorite tool even then. After my parental leave, I wanted to return to a job that felt good, was fun, and wasn’t the same every day. At HNS, things are never monotonous, and I can contribute all my experience.
What tasks will you be taking on with us?
Customer support, new setups and training – exactly the mix where I can perfectly apply my practical knowledge.
And who are you away from your laptop?
I’m fresh back from maternity leave, enjoying my new role as a mom, and slowly rediscovering old passions. One of them: show dancing. Yes, you read that right. And when I’m in Berlin for personal reasons, it’s usually for two things: a visit to the Friedrichstadt-Palast and a little stroll through KaDeWe.
