Imagine a guest who has just discovered your hotel. They curiously click on the most beautiful room photo, search for a suitable arrangement, or simply want to make a straightforward booking. It is precisely in these moments that interest turns into a booking. With our latest improvements, we provide you with tools that make your booking process even clearer, more flexible, and more attractive. Mandatory text fields become more versatile, room photos larger, packages smarter, and guest names clearer. Small adjustments that make a big difference for your guests and result in noticeably more bookings for you.
Mandatory text extras now mandatory for all

Remember our mandatory extras? Until now, they were reserved for golf, riding, and spa hotels—where a room without a golf course makes about as much sense as a riding stable without horses or a spa hotel without detoxification. But that was just the beginning of a good idea.
Now you can use mandatory extras everywhere: for corporate customers, allotments, and your package deals. For package deals, this could be the choice between half board or full board. For wedding parties, it could be the menu selection: vegetarian, fish, or meat. The possibilities are as varied as your guests. We look forward to hearing your ideas.
Great rooms now even bigger

The room image has always been the silent seducer of the booking process. One glance—and either you want to sleep there or you’d rather not. We noticed that guests always clicked on this image first, as if to say, “Show me everything.” Until now, to be honest, not much happened.
We took this collective suggestion to heart. One click, and the image opens in all its glory. A pretty lightbox displays all images in your category on one page. Clicking on an image again opens an even larger detailed view, complete with captions that make all the difference.
A photo of the balcony becomes: “Your private box seat for the sunrise over the lake.” “The walk-in rain shower with natural stone wall” explains what can only be guessed at in the photo. “25 square meters with separate seating area” makes the size tangible.
Perhaps this would also be a good moment to examine your own images. Is the quality still up to par? Or would it be worthwhile to re-photograph the rooms? Airbnb once sent photographers out because beautiful photos resulted in 2.5 times more bookings.
Tune your packages

Prices are strange creatures. You start with one, and before you know it, they’ve multiplied like rabbits. One rate for early bookers, one for trade fair visitors, one for Christmas, Easter, and marathons. Soon the list is longer than the breakfast buffet.
The price calculator puts an end to this – and now also works for flat-rate offers. One base rate, endless possibilities – that’s the principle. Do you need a daily surcharge for the marathon at the weekend? No problem. A percentage discount for a slow week? One click. Has the competition suddenly lowered their prices? You can follow suit without throwing your entire pricing structure out the window.
Guest names on OnePageBooking reimagined

First, an honest question: Who should find the booking process on your OnePageBooking particularly easy? Your guests? Or your hotel team?
This question arises particularly when hotels want to collect all guest names before the booking button. The reasons are understandable. Unfortunately, so are the lost bookings. We observe time and again that every additional mandatory field costs conversion and thus valuable bookings.
That’s why we decided to make a small improvement. Guest names will no longer unnecessarily lengthen your booking process in future. This quickly became confusing, especially on mobile phones. When searching for more than one guest, a clear input window now appears.
However, it is even clearer not to collect all names at first and to postpone the whole process until after the booking has been made. Sometimes less is more – especially when it comes to booking forms.
