Do you know that feeling when a gift is so beautifully wrapped that you almost don’t want to give it back? That’s how your VoucherBooking customers will feel from July 2, 2025 – when their vouchers are transformed into little works of art.
But: It will only be nice if you join in. Our new vouchers need help – from you. Only if you add short descriptions, hotel pictures and links will the vouchers be fully effective. We have fundamentally revised and redesigned both our PrintVouchers and our SmartVouchers: Thanks to the integrated QR code, your employees can use the new VoucherScanner to validate vouchers at lightning speed, while your guests can see all the important information about the gift at a glance. Important: The changeover will be mandatory for all VB3 customers with print or digital vouchers on July 2, 2025.
Our recommendation: Register for one of our webinars in any case. We will show you step by step what to do.

PrintVoucher: Give the gift of print.

Turn your home printer into a gift factory! Our newly designed folding gift vouchers are a real eye-catcher – and the perfect gift. Some people plan gifts months in advance. And then there are the others… Those who realize on December 23 that tomorrow is Christmas. 32% of people admit that they bought their gift card on the same day they gave it. The global gift voucher market was worth almost one trillion dollars in 2023, and is expected to reach a colossal three trillion by 2030*. Such a voucher is more than a gift, it is a miracle cure, a last-minute rescue and, in our opinion, a deserving contender for the Nobel Peace Prize. The new PrintVouchers now perfect this art of the elegant emergency solution. And let’s be honest: a beautifully printed card simply looks much better under the Christmas tree than a naked link. With them, the home printer becomes a gift manufacturer, a secret accomplice. Print, fold – and the gift is ready. Whether it’s a postcard, greeting card, star card or envelope, we have completely redesigned the vouchers. There is now space for long descriptive texts on an insert and under a QR code. Of course, the recipient has no idea about the printer ink that was hastily refilled at midnight. All they see is a valuable gift, lovingly designed with personal pictures and a touching dedication.
SmartVoucher: Really smart, not just paperless.

There are things you simply shouldn’t do on a smartphone: writing a novel, fiddling with Excel spreadsheets or reading a PDF file. Especially if the latter is a hotel voucher. Please don’t get us wrong. We have no grudge against PDFs. But a voucher deserves more. Let’s no longer just give it away like an invoice attachment. The A4 format is good for a file folder, but not for a smartphone. Our new SmartVoucher is now more digital than ever. No app installation, no attachment that refuses to be opened. Instead, a beautifully designed digital gift that feels at home on any screen. The recipient can see all the essentials at a glance: Validity, residual value, redemption options. A tap of the finger and the QR code appears for presentation at reception. One more, and the route to the hotel opens. For hotel groups, an elegant overview of all hotels is presented – no searching, no puzzling, just the anticipation of a successful moment in your hotel.
VoucherScanner: Your new web app for hotel vouchers.

Simply pull out your smartphone and press the button – and the guest’s voucher is validated. And that’s not all: with VoucherScanner, vouchers can be quickly checked for validity, only partially validated and the history viewed. All information is immediately to hand – whether for staff at reception, in the
restaurant or outside by the pool. This is made possible by a small QR code on each voucher. When the guest scans this code, they also receive information and a description of their gift. Don’t worry: only you as the hotel can validate and edit it. Nice side effect: description texts, additional pictures, lists – all this no longer has to be on the voucher itself, but can be read digitally.
