You have questions?
Here are some answers.

We went on a culinary journey in January. 5 days, 5 country cuisines and a lot of pleasure describe our culinary project pretty well. We didn’t have to travel far because thanks to our international team, we were able to experience 5 country cuisines in one week.

Our colleagues thought and worked hard, put on their cooking aprons and lovingly prepared their favorite dishes from their home countries. The result was impressive: from sweet to salty, mild to spicy and delicate to savory, everything was there. Our team was especially pleased to enjoy the culinary specialties at lunch together in the office. The menu included the following specialties to choose from.

Day 1: Israel

Since Israeli cuisine is known for falafel and hummus, both were of course not to be missed. With pita breads to fill, fresh falafel, hummus and baba ganoush, the culinary level was already very high on the first day.

Day 2: Poland

Our culinary week continued with Polish specialties. Polish cuisine is known for pierogi and hearty dishes like the sauerkraut stew bigos. A sweet dessert could not be missing and with homemade pudding cakes the second day was also a culinary success.

Day 3: Iran

Our Iranian colleagues were especially happy to serve us their favorite dishes. We enjoyed dips and appetizers of eggplant, pickled vegetables and a traditional Persian stew.

Day 4: India & Pakistan

Our culinary journey continued to India and Pakistan. Thanks to a curry made with the traditional cream cheese paneer, Indian rice and naan bread, our entire team was happy and well satiated even on day four.

Day 5: Portugal

Every (culinary) journey has an end – we celebrated the end of our week with specialties from Portugal. A rice and bean stew, pea and mint soup, savory cheese balls and sweet pasteis de nata were served.

We would like to thank our entire team for their great efforts and the delicious creations we were able to experience during our culinary journey. It is enormously enriching to take a look beyond one’s own nose and broaden one’s own cultural horizons in the process.
